Privacy Notice – Information we hold about you
We are committed to preserving your privacy, to letting you know how we use and keep safe your personal information and to making responsible use of your data. We operate policies and procedures to ensure that we meet the standards expected by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Reference to “we”, “us”, or “our” in this document are references to Family Support Centre Shirley, registered charity 1080331.
Information about you
We hold personal information about you for one or more of the following reasons:
- Because you have sought advice, counselling or support from us
- Because you have requested information from us
The information we hold may include your name, title, email address, physical address, telephone numbers, date of birth, name and address of GP, and dates and details of when you used our services.
Our use of this information
We will only use your personal information so that we can answer your requests, provide you with access to our services, or where there is any other legitimate interest or legal duty of the charity.
We will not share your information with any other organisation or individual without obtaining your specific consent.
We will delete data that is out-of-date or no longer required or relevant.
We take the security and sensitivity of your data very seriously. We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of any information you give us. This includes the provision of training and guidance concerning data protection to all administrative staff and advisors, for whom we have rigorous recruitment, training and supervision procedures.
The Data Protection Trustee is responsible for overseeing the application of the data protection policy and procedures across the Family Support Centre.
